A Certification Report is a report of test results that "certifies" the connections have passed and are compliant with current industry standards. Every network cable installed by Td Communications is tested using these latest standards. We accomplish this by using the best test equipment on the market, Fluke's DTX Scanners. Our scanners are factory calibrated annually and the software and firmware is upgraded constantly to reflect the latest changes in the EIA/TIA standards. All of our customers receive a Certification Report of the test results. This report shows the bi-directional test results performed on every data cable installed by Td Communications. The tests performed include: o Attenuation (power loss) o NEXT (near-end crosstalk) o ACR (attenuation-to-crosstalk ratio) o Delay skew o Impedance o Return loss (also known as “echo”) o ELFEXT (equal-level far-end crosstalk). o PSFEXT (power sum far-end crosstalk). According to the Standards Industry, the passing of these tests assures that your cable meets or exceeds the latest Category 5e,Category 6 and Category 6a standards. Please keep in mind that this is a very important piece of your infrastructure puzzle. |
